HAGERSVILLE — A 20-year-old Norfolk woman has died of injuries she suffered when the car she was driving went off the road and rolled on its roof near Townsend Wednesday afternoon.
Norfolk OPP today identified the woman as Justine Miklavcic.
Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt when the single car crash occurred as she was driving northbound on County Line Road at 1 p.m.
OPP Constable Kari Lee said it is not known why Miklavcic’s car went off the road.
Miklavcic was taken first to West Haldimand Hospital in Hagersville and then airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital where she died a short time later.
The OPP’s technical traffic collision squad is investigating. Not using a seatbelt is considered a contributing factor in Miklavcic’s death.
